Software Licensing Analyst, License Compliance

Job Description

The Software Licensing Analyst is responsible for obtaining and analyzing customer account information, selecting and assigning candidates for worldwide compliance processes. This includes using deployment analytic tools, MS Office and internal CRM systems to generate reporting, compare customer usage data with licensing and selecting candidates for multiple worldwide License Compliance Services programs. Other responsibilities will include improving reporting functionality, improving lead generation and aligning global processes within the License Compliance Services team.

  • Key Responsibilities: Analyze ePO call home and additional OBI reporting
  • Data mining leads for LCS Worldwide teamRemain current on McAfee product knowledge
  • Implement, manage and monitor compliance processes in alignment with corporate, regional, country and local requirements
  • Collaborate with McAfee database and IT departments to improve and maintain reporting tools
  • Act as liaison between LCS Consultants, Product Management and internal Operations teams for product reporting questions and requirements
  • Maintain high level of customer focus internal/external regarding sensitivity of customer accounts and data
  • Support Project Lead with Misc. projects


Skills to assess and solve complex problems, devise methodologies and solutions and perform analyses.
Software licensing experience strongly preferred.
Proficient PC skills, Excel, Word and SharePoint.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to clearly and concisely form and express ideas and concepts.
Process improvement champion and advocate of change
