What you’ll love doing with us

At McAfee you’ll analyze, design, program, debug, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products.

You may work directly with companies that develop applications software, focused on enabling and optimizing 3rd party software applications.

You will deploy code may be used in a wide variety of commercial or enduser applications.

You will use current programming language and technologies to write code that performs testing and debugging of applications.

Your testing, debugging and troubleshooting of platform level problems, identifying and isolating problematic software to assist the development/QA and fixing the root cause of the issues.

Monitoring and optimizing server and application performance, supporting the deployment team, setting up of a staging and QA configurations for the applications, security solutions in a fun, challenging environment where innovation is encouraged—and excellence is recognized.


You need at least the first qualification to be considered for this position. Anything above that gets you an enthusiastic high-five. And we’ll tell you right now — previous experience in software application engineering is a big plus.

You definitely have:

Bachelor or Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

More than 8 years of total Software Industry experience.

You might also have:

  • Experience with Server Automation tools like BladeLogic, or any Build and release tools.
  • Experience in any deployment tools like BladeLogic, Orchestrator, Puppet, Chef, etc
  • Experience of working in an enterprise datacenter, good Knowledge on IIS key components AppPools, Metabase, Bindings Etc & troubleshooting skills, installing .NET framework, configuring app with IIS like allowing web service
  • Experience analyzing IIS Log files
  • Experience  backing up &Restoring IIS configuration.
  • Experience editing the IIS Configuration files, Installing & configuring third party vendor applications & integration with IIS. Ability to multitask and take on new technologies of Microsoft, certification like MCSE is desirable.

You’ll impress us if you

  • Have working experience on Microsoft Windows 2008 R2, 2012 Strong knowledge in IIS 7, 7.5 MCP Certified in at least one of the Microsoft Technologies.
  • Appreciate test automation and continuous integration

  • Work thoughtfully and collaboratively with your team
  • Have solid written and verbal communication skills
