The purpose of this role is to establish and maintain best in class McAfee Credit, Collections, and A/R operations and to maintain the health and integrity of the WW accounts receivable portfolio. This role will perform ongoing financial risk assessment and deliver credit control of McAfee customers, minimizing the risk of bad debt while strengthening collections and supporting McAfee revenue. The Credit Analyst will maintain productive working relationships with key business partners and ensure that the organization effectively partners at all levels. Key partners include Sales, Order Operations, Finance, Channel Sales, Accounting, Tax, and the Deal Desk, as well as global Collection analysts who manage key shared customer relationships. Roles & responsibilitiesEstablishes and approves customer credit limits up to authority level.Responsible for credit line activation/deactivationPartners with Sales & Order Operations to proactively manage customer contract negotiations and onboardingIdentifies high risk customers and decides when to place a past due customer on credit hold or remove credit hold for services or SW and implements hold/releaseCommunicates credit hold risk and/or credit hold to customer and internal stakeholders Order Ops, Sales, Finance...Determines if customer services should be suspended due to non-payment, communicating status to stakeholders leading up to and including decisionRecommends revenue reversal or bad debt reserve decisionsDrive efficiency projects to improve our order to cash process, resulting in improved payment cycles and the best cost resource model.Develop senior level business relationships with key business group IT, Order Ops, Sales, Revenue, Ops Finance, and MDF to influence business processes to improve our order-to-cash cycle, and facilitate issue resolution with the goal of zero delinquency and improved payment performance.Meet with key customers to develop relationships and to enable collaboration on more efficient processes/better compliance to McAfee's payment terms.Preparation and delivery of monthly/quarterly Accounts Receivable indicator packageConsulted as a decision maker when contract credit terms are escalated.
