In this position, you will own both Reject Validation development and execution with a focus IDC Client products. The development portion will include integrating and validating Reject Validation module into all test programs, including force flow and engineering data collection. The execution portion will consist of reviewing RV data (shmoos, etc) on fallout from Qualification stresses and recommending the disposition of the failures. This candidate will be part of a global Reject validation team supporting RV on Client, SOC, and Server products. The primary interfaces will be between product engineers, quality & reliability engineers, fault isolation engineers, and other reject validation engineers. Additionally there may be various development projects such as: creating custom test programs, automating data collection on testers using Perl and Python for the next generation of Intel products, UI enhancements, and post processing scripts.

You should possess a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with a minimum of three years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with a minimum of five years of experience . Additional qualifications include: - Solid Understanding principles of class/sort test and design for test - Solid software skills (Python, Perl, SQL) - Knowledge in the use of testers - Understanding of x86 microprocessor architecture, VLSI design, fab process, and device physics
