Drone Software User Experience specialist

Job Description
We are Intel's unmanned aerial vehicles UAV team and we need YOU to make our products fly! Formed by a recent acquisition, we are a small but successful startup within Intel and operate in a highly dynamic and largely independent environment. We are looking for a passionate SW Engineer with focus on User Experience to help us build our next generation drone mission control Software. Software engineers are responsible to create, test and deliver software for the drone systems. Works with internal and external software and hardware teams to deliver a start of the results consisting out of, architecture, implementation, testing, design and artwork. This job has a special focus on a Java and openGL based desktop user interface which should be maintained and rapidly extended. Customized user interfaces for different vertical applications should be designed and created based on rapid prototyping and interaction with key users. You will be part of one of the most exciting trends in the industry, creating products for diverse and highly sought-after solutions. At the same time, we require you to deliver to the highest standards in your respective field. Ideally, you have solid experience with creating state of the art user interfaces and user experiences - Proven track record of released products - Experience in working with customers - Experience in working with external contractors - Fluent in English, both written and oral - Basic German skills are a plus

PerC aims to build technologies that would help users to have natural, immersive and intuitive interaction with computers through not only touch interface but also through hand gestures, voice and video. The objective of PerC is to explore consumer-focused hardware and software applications of close-range hand and finger gestures, speech recognition, face recognition and tracking, augmented reality and more.
