NPI Planner

Job Description
  • Collaborate with engineering and business teams to collect NPI demand.  Ensure specific requirements are understood and documented.
  • Monitor and ensure completeness and accuracy of tools, hardware, software and data (parts, BOMs, tester, handler/prober, load board/probe card etc )
  • Validate information required to generate a supply response is correct, including yields, cycle time, site loading, capacity boundary conditions, etc.
  • Employ system based solution to produce a weekly build plan that meets the manufacturing and engineering business need
  • Confirm and solve manufacturing and engineering needs to bridge capacity gap, optimize utilization, purchase and reserve capacity to support NPI need.
  • Bring awareness of supply shortages to appropriate stakeholders.  Resolve supply gaps where possible in ESSC Lab, Sort and Final Test.
  • Coordinate contractual-related logistics and Operational associated with external partners eg. OSAT
  • Transfer responsibilities to high-volume (HV) planners after product has launched. In some cases may need to work with HV planners inside OSAT
  • Communicate and bring awareness to the organization on all the above items to ensure manufacturing and engineering commitment to customers is fully meet.


Qualifications

• Candidates with 3+ years of experience in an operations-related role, such as planning, forecasting, manufacturing, logistics,
procurement, engineering support in NPI or related experience is highly preferred
• Understanding of supply chain concepts a plus
• Experience working with metrics & analytics
• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing
• Experience leading process improvements
• Familiarity with project management best practices; PMP certification a plus
• Ability to translate broad or general concepts into tangible deliverable
• Proven problem-solving skills
• Ability to influence others using a variety of approaches with or without positional authority
• Comfort in dealing with ambiguity
