ME Area Manager

Job Description
In this position, you will be reporting to Manufacturing Engineering Director and working with other managers to direct the ME Area Team Organization of Photo, Dry Etch, Diffusion/Implant, CVD/PVD and Wet Etch/CMP. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: - Leading the Manufacturing area safety, output, people, equipment, quality & operation excellence systems and cost efforts to optimize the high-volume ramp of a fab in Dalian. - Providing management for proactive tactical planning and execution of the production ramp, resource planning and/or management, and tool and labor productivity improvements. - Leading, coaching and facilitating the performance of shift GLs, shift engineers, module teams, and manufacturing direct workforce. Owning tactical planning and education and set daily shift priorities for fab execution with great team work with PEE. - Building a strong local workforce through training and mentorship of local factory leaders. To be successful in this role the candidate must be an outstanding trainer, mentor, leader, and communicator. - Providing a factory leadership and management role for proactive tactical planning and execution of the production ramp, resource management, and tool and labor productivity improvements. Specific function areas Photo, Dry Etch, Diffusion/Implant, CVD/PVD, Wet Etch/CMP and Bench.


QualificationSuccessful candidates must have demonstrated proficiencies in skills listed below appropriate for their grade level. - You should possess a Bachelor's or a Master's degree or a Doctorate in Engineering or Science. Previous experience at the manager level is plus. - A minimum of 5 plus years of direct semiconductor industry. - Good understanding of factory and/or fabrication operations. - A strong understanding of semiconductor process flow, manufacturing science and systems, and engineering applications. - Working knowledge of technical and operation, as well as demonstrated experience establishing and maintaining successful relationships with partner organizations, internal and external, to drive aggressive roadmaps - Demonstrated passion towards innovation and risk-taking in order to achieve excellence in Intel's first fab in Asia. - Good command and fluency in English. - Experience in start up, and ramp of a high volume manufacturing facility, preferably running 300mm wafer fab processes and operations. - Demonstrated the capability of working in and leading a high performing team culture which includes: setting high expectations, driving accountability to those expectations, role modeling the desired culture, possess excellent teamwork, demonstrated problem solving and prioritization skills, and driving high performance maintenance goals for the group
