What will you do
This is a commissioned software and services sales position. Objectives may include revenue, margin, volume, MSS, product mix as defined by management.
In your role as a Multi Segment Field Account Manager (for North Africa) you will be expected to maximize revenue potential of McAfee products within assigned Channel territory, through recruitment, development and management of partners in North Africa. Managing the organization’s certification program and effectively guiding the resellers’ program status. The main function of the role is that of presenting an idea or concept to others. The emphasis should be on winning acceptance of and positive reaction to committing to the McAfee Channel Partner Program.
In this position your responsibilities will include but are not be limited to:
- Exceeding managed Partner quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Tracking, forecasting, coordinating and reporting on sales opportunities
- Managing partners and growing the revenue through managed partners
- Qualifying partner and selling commercial benefits of McAfee partner program to multi-level contacts within the managed partner accounts
- Developing managed partners through training both on McAfee portfolio, partner program resources and benefits and our partner CRM SalesForce, to enable them to achieve the most commercially suitable level of Partner program accreditation
- Coordinating with local Marketing activities tied to the business’s goals
- End user opportunity development – Identifying and developing successful long-term opportunities alongside managed partners to grow new business for McAfee.
- Facilitating relationships between the McAfee field sales team and the key partner sales and consulting teams to ensure that account mapping is completed and joint account plans developed
- Jointly developing managed partners business plan’s and review monthly against agreed targets
- Ensuring close liaison with all relevant functions within McAfee to communicate product and support needs and communicate strategic developments/risks within the partner
- Ensuring that managed partners are regularly updated on changes to McAfee Sales operations and how these changes will complement their own sales and internal teams
- Ensuring that all managed partners maintain their knowledge and understanding of the SalesForce tool to enable them to properly benefit of all resources available through the partner portal
- Communicating McAfee strategy and aims on a quarterly basis
- Keeping knowledge up to date of the Security market and meet training targets to maintain a thorough understanding of McAfee products, process and promotions to provide the highest levels of sales support
Inside this Business Group
- Demonstrable track record of high value sales through channel partners
- Coming from the Channel or working in a similar position within a Software or Hardware Vendor
- Experience with direct touch sales models in cooperation with channel partners
- Broad understanding of the various vertical markets, particularly experience with Telco, System Integrators, managed services providers, resellers and distributors
- Understands how to work with integrity through an indirect sales channel model
- Broad appreciation of the Information Service Management market
- Understanding of and demonstrable track record of utilizing a recognized sales methodology
- Excellent sales, negotiation, influential selling skills and C-Level relationship building skills
- An extensive background in channel activity
- Flexibility with regards to travel within your region
- Fluency in Arabic, French and English
