In this role, the candidate will be responsible for validating the Memory Execution (load/store) Unit functionality of the Atom Microprocessor, developing the verification test-bench, test plans, tests, coverage monitors/assertions and infrastructure.
The candidate will debug failing tests in cluster/unit level test-bench environment, then work with designers and architects to resolve bugs.
BS or MS in Electric Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering
The candidate should have 5+ years of experience in microprocessor validation including focused experience in the area of out-of-order execution.
Experience in closely-related areas such as SOC memory subsystem design or validation will also be considered.
