Cloud Solutions Engineer

Job Description

The Intel Trust Services TSI and Infrastructure team, part of the Platform Security Division is focused on partnering with Intel business units to deliver end-to-end support for online services which enable security applications and services. TSI is looking for qualified candidates interested in joining our DevOps team performing a variety of duties in the delivery and sustainment of cloud based SaaS and PaaS offerings. You will work with senior DevOps team members while you learn and extend your skills in automating deployments, creating and improving operational tools, and sustaining services.

Responsibilities might include:

  • Build and deploy SaaS and PaaS environments for development and production services.
  • Integrate, install, configure, test, and support applications for delivery of services Operation and configuration of virtual servers, development hosts, load balancing applications, and application hosting servers.
  • Troubleshoot operational and service delivery issues in a global enterprise environment.
  • Create and optimize tools and systems used to operate and sustain SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS services.
  • Use knowledge of applications, programming and scripting to create operational tools, provide automation for deployments, provisioning and other needs.
  • Define and document troubleshooting guides, knowledge base and processes.
  • System monitoring and handling of deviations and alerts Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation for support outside of normal office hours
  • Participate in service management processes including but not limited to: incident management, major problem reviews, change management, and continual improvement.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Requirements:
-Must have a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
-At the bachelor level candidate must have the unrestricted right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship
- Minimum of 3 months experience with:
• Ability to develop and maintain web based applications.
• Linux and MS Windows server administration skills.
• Scripting languages eg. Shell, Perl, Python, PowerShell.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ANSIBLE automation.
- Experience with Nagios monitoring.
- Experience with AWS and Verizon Cloud Service Providers.
- High performance computing solutions and load balancing.
