Job Description: Connected Home Division (CHD) customers are the leading cable modem and gateway vendors worldwide. TCS (Technical Customer Support) is responsible for all aspects of customer support to OEMs, ODMs, as well as MSOs building products for the Cable industry. While working with the various engineering teams in CHD, a TCS engineer is the main technical point of contact to the customer, the voice of the customer's needs within the organization, and the manager of day to day tactical program activities with the customer. This includes product integration, software customization and system debug. TCS is the center of excellence for technical issues, providing system level support and issues resolution. A member of TCS has broad technical knowledge in Intel's gateway software offering and is the first line for analysis, customization guidelines, and issue resolution to the customer and within the CHD group.

Position requires BS in EE / computer engineering or BA in computer science.Minimum off five years work experience developing SW on embedded processors.Knowledge in Linux OS.Work experience in broadband communication (DSL, PON, WiFi) and cable in specific (DOCSIS, Packet cable) - advantage.Experience with network protocols and stacks (TCP, UDP, SNMP, IPv6, IGMP, Gateway), VoIP protocols - advantage.Minimum of two years supporting customers - advantage.
