This position is part of the Programmable Hardware Engineering PHE in Programmable Solution Group PSG - previously Altera. As a member of Pre-Si Design Verification team, the responsibilities include developing capabilities on pre-silicon environment using UVM, test writing and RTL validation assist design unit owner in RTL model functional validation. Use CAD tool extensively to simulate logic behavior for next generation, deep sub-micron embedded circuit solutions. The candidate will also be responsible for supporting RTL regression and first level failure triage. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively with cross functional teams such as Silicon Design, validation, and SW development team. Requires broad understanding of multiple system architecture, SoC design/validation methodologies, and emulation/FPGA technologies.
