This role is based in Germany.The Regional Sales Group (RSG) within Sales and Marketing Group (SMG)provides the technical enabling, sales and scale capabilities that deliver Intel technology through a broad and diverse set of customers and partners, fueling the virtuous cycle of growth across the globe.

RSG’s Distribution and Platform Sales team supplies Intel with segment specific market knowledge and expert knowledge of our comprehensive scale engine capabilities across a global network of 850 distribution locations and out to 150,000 resellers, with the ability to customize investment strategies by Business unit within a global framework.

As an EMEA Regional Sales Group- IoT Distribution FAE you will be responsible for:

  • Working with Intel’s IOT distributors to drive new customer design wins for Intels IOT products.Design assistance in design cycle to Distributors, including on-site visits to review designs, examine customer problems and provide suggestions on optimal ways to use Intel products.
  • Providing training and account strategy support for distributors on IoT Intel architecture products.

As a  successful candidate you will have strong sales skills as well as a demonstrated ability to execute disciplined and effective work processes.

The role requires a track record of creating strong and collaborative value based business opportunities that drive growth for Intel and our RSG partners.


  • BSc (or equivalent) degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science plus experience in a technical sales role. Applicants with other educational qualifications with an extensive proven track record of Technical sales will also be considered
  • Fluent in both spoken  written English and German
  • Practical experience working with IOT, embedded and semi-embedded customers from a sales  technical design perspective.Direct design experience would be an advantage e.g. experience in a related electronics field, current PC system architecture, and Intel Architecture down to the register level (preferred) and possessing a working knowledge of Industry Relevant Software (OS, Application and drivers).
  • Architecture CPUs/SoCs, boards or systems and familiarity with Windows, Android and Linux operating systems Good knowledge of Wearables applications and use of Sensors, Wireless WAN, LAN  PAN technologies is required.
  • Demonstrable understanding of the European market or specific countries within Europe would be a distinct advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into action working through a team to drive results Self-motivated and able to independently execute and prioritize workload.
  • Proven strong technical acumen and ability to influence customer designs and sales.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate well with customers on the phone and/or email
