The Partner Product Manager is a technical role, acting as accountable interface with the cross-functional teams at Intel Security and our partners. As a successful candidate, you will use your expertise to make sure that the requirements and interests of our partners are represented internally but you will also represent Intel Security as solution expert with the partner technical teams and decision makers. The PPM will work with other PPMs, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and UX teams to improve products and delivery of Intel Security consumer products. In this role you will effectively serve as -"Go to" person for supporting our sales teams, -technical implementation lead, detailing product requirements PRD -technical account manager for supporting partner needs, resolve status, production, delivery and other inquiries. As PPM you will work on a range of partner projects and be able to demonstrate strong communication, coordination, and creative problem solving expertise. As the "go to" person for our sales teams you will understand the current product offering, deployment models and best practices from successful partnerships, as well as the road map for future product releases. You will have a diverse skill-set, including both a technical understanding of consumer security software anti-virus, identity, password management, biometrics solutions and marketing expertise. For our partners you will expedite service and escalations as well as schedule work to meet agreed deadlines. You will develop and design solutions for moderately complex processes. The PPM will report to the regional Director of Partner Product Management in the Consumer Business Unit of Intel Security. As part of Intel Security our mission is to secure Consumers leveraging our product portfolio. We work with major Service Providers -including Telco Operators, MSOs, Mobile Carriers and other ISPs to optimize our products for the needs of our partners. Inside this Business Group
At least 5 years work experience in Security, Software, and/or Service Provider Sector. Education and Experience- Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent degree.
Excellent written, presentation, analytic, and program management skills.
Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is a must for all assignments.
Good presentation and communication skills are required to both technical and non-technical audiences that range from engineers to executives.
Technical project management or program management background recommended.
Mobile and web services based technology knowledge.
Understanding of ISP and/or Mobile Carrier OSS/BSS stack
Background in carrier network architecture LTE, Routing
Background in consumer home device ecosystem, especially Residential Gateways is a plus
Software security background recommended
Proactive attitude and self-motivated to spot opportunities and take ownership and ability to work on own initiative, independently, and within a team.
