The Transceiver PHY IP team, part of Intel's Programmable Solutions Group, provides tools and IP to enable Intel's FPGA customers to make use of our cutting edge high-speed serial transceivers SERDES. We are the interface for users into Intel's transceiver products. Intel's FPGA transceivers are used across a wide array of industries including communications, broadcast, video processing, high-speed storage, and test and measurement. The PHY IP team is looking for an experienced validation engineer to help ensure the high quality needed for Intel's transceiver IP cores.In this role you will be part of a wonderful team of professionals. You will define and develop system validation environments and test suites. You will be responsible for the development of methodologies, execution of validation plans, and debug of failures. With a broad understanding of multiple system areas you will interact with the architecture, design, pre-silicon validation, and post-silicon validation teams to ensure the quality of our IP cores and silicon.If you have a love for hardware and software, a desire to be part of a great team, and a desire to work on cutting edge transceiver products, the Intel PSG Transceiver PHY IP team may be a good fit for you.

B.S. Electrical Engineering or equivalent field
3 years experience in design verification.Experience with Verilog and SystemVerilog design verification and debug.
MS in Electrical Engineering
Experience developing and implementing test plans.
Experience developing and debugging testbenches and designs using ModelSim, VCS, and/or NCSim.Scripting language experience including Perl and/or TCL.
Hardware bringup / debug / validation experience a plus.
FPGA experience a plus.
