This position is responsible for leading a small and influential team of wireless product application engineers. This individual will be expected to help guide our product application engineers as well as work as an individual contributor to drive key go to market initiatives across engineering, marketing, AE, and field teams. In this position, you will work across CCG-MCP's Wireless CAE organization and iCDG's WCS team to manage customer requirements and needs through the product lifecycle. You will work closely with Technical Account managers to enable and track the design in and design win activities of Intel's wireless products as well as driving these requirements into engineering teams. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: - Mentoring specific technology product AEs - Leading our customer corrective action task force to drive major product and process improvements - Representing customer's technical issues and requirement to the internal development teams- Driving internal design groups and Project Development Teams (PDTs) within WCS to meet customer expectations. Ensuring deliverables occur on time and prioritizations are properly made and handled.- Working closely with the Wireless Application Engineering team to prioritize and respond to customer requirements - Developing solid understanding of product features and functionality and technical proficiency to challenge design and decisions ensuring customer requirements are met.- Communicating clearly to the customer technical details about features and releases issues - Developing and presenting training material to internal teams and OEMs- Defining and developing product collateral
Inside this Business Group
You should possess a Bachelor of Science degree or greater in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience. MBA preferred. Additional qualifications include: - Experience leading a team preferred - Technical background in radio technologies such as 802.11 or Bluetooth, especially in aspects associated with embedding those into consumer devices.- End to End user experience including Display/video, Audio, USB/IO is an advantage- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems and its architecture- Networking technology skills, including 802.11 and Bluetooth, is an advantage- Ability to influence across organizations, customers, and higher grade levels- Ability to work through others, influence and lead external groups to meet customer and product needs- Strong team work skills- Capability to lead task forces involving multi-site development teams- Program management skills- Self-directed and motivated to be successful in this environment - Strong technical writing skills and the ability to generate technical documents defining and describing product issues and resolution details - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Strong presentation skills- Willingness to travel to customer sites
