We are now looking for a Field Applications Engineer within Intel's Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) to continue the ramp in growth of the automotive business in the region. As a Field Applications Engineer, you will be responsible for using your technical and business acumen to build strong relationships within key strategic Automotive customers in Northern Europe, win designs and drive business growth in accordance with company goals and processes. We are looking for someone with a strong automotive technical knowledge primarily in ADAS, Infotainment and electronic vehicles. The candidate should be familiar with FPGA technology, tools flows and IP. A knowledge of high level design tools such as OpenCL and graphics processing would also be an advantage. The candidate should also be familiar with the automotive quality and safety standards.

Essential Skills/Qualifications :
BSc., BEng or MS in in Electronic Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of experience or equivalent in digital logic design
Experience in the Automotive Industry
Experience of FPGA design & tool flows
Knowledge of operating systems such as Linux, Windows, or UNIX and related system administration activities would be useful.
Good interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to apply sound judgement and deliver high standards towards own goals.
Good problem solving skills, and the ability to work in a multi-tasking team environment.
Business travel is required
Additional Skills :
Existing experience in the use of Altera's Quartus II tool would be desirable, but not essential.
Knowledge of Vision Design or processing
Knowledge of High Level Design Language OPENCL etc
Some level of understanding in all aspects of the design flow from concept to silicon, including design-entry, synthesis, floor-planning, place and route, simulation, static timing analysis and on-chip debug.
