Design and synchronize the networks and processes that move raw materials and supplies into production facilities, transform them into finished goods, and distribute products to customer markets. Specific responsibilities may vary depending upon the engineering role within the supply chain. Roles can include maintaining quality standards and systems, creating relevant specifications to minimize variability and subjectivity to align with operational and supplier capability requirements. Defines material inspection metrology and methodology. Conducts studies relative to cost control, process control, and production yield and implements plans and programs to optimize supply chain. Works with suppliers to define requirements and holds suppliers accountable for their manufacturing process flow to meet quality, reliability, cost, yield and manufacturability requirements. Drives continuous process and quality improvements.The Silicon Wafer Technical Supplier Owner Engineer drives continuous improvement on quality, reliability, cost, yield, process stability/capability, and productivity with Silicon Wafer manufacturers and Intel factories. Job Responsibilities Include but are not limited to: Define the technical requirements for supplier selection. Develop plans and strategies to validate critical process window at supplier. Drive supplier process window validation activities on critical process modules throughout stages of development. Drive supplier improvements on quality, reliability, yield and cost. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education, statistical knowledge, and problem-solving tools. Develops strategy to resolve difficult problems and establishes systems to deal with these problems in the future. Work effectively with the silicon wafer manufacturers to identify areas for improvement, propose and evaluate modification to mitigate issues. Provide technical support during material transfers for factory start up and into HVM. Require experience and thorough knowledge in business practices and procedures.

Required Skills/Experience (Must Have)
• Bachelor Degree (Master's or Ph.D. Degree preferred) in a related science or engineering field (Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or other) In combination of 3+ years of related experience.
• 3+ of direct experience with silicon wafer manufacturing.
• Proven knowledge of statistics and use of engineering analysis tools.
• Program/Project Management experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice to Have)
- Knowledge of semiconductor materials characterization techniques such as FTIR,
SEM/EDX, TEM, CSAM, X-RAY, XPS, TGA, DMA, Raman and other
mechanical/electrical/chemical analysis techniques.
- Supply Chain Intelligence
- Previous experience within an Intel manufacturing factory environment
