The full user experience of our products is delivered through a combination of Silicon HW and a long stack of product SW including FW, drivers, multiple OS, middleware, applications, and critical workloads.
Software Readiness Qualification SRQ aka. SoftPRQ is a corporate initiative aimed at early enabling and testing of critical benchmarks, SW workloads, and Key performance indicators on the Pre-Silicon systems by silicon power on.
As a product SW engineer you play primary role in one or more product segments.
You will perform the bring up and qualifying critical SW workloads on Intel's virtual platforms and other pre-si models like Hybrid-FPGA.
You will be exposed to a wide range of critical SW including benchmarks, applications, OS compliance suites, and FW/driers.
You will working with key stakeholders across Intel and with the larger ecosystem. As part of the planning you will also work closely with Pre-si Systems development teams, especially the Simics Virtual Platform Model development teams and share requirements.

We will be looking for a combination of strong technical background, track record of leadership, strong communication and stake-holder management skills. Following are some of the desired qualification and experience.
Master's degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Software Engineering with 4+ years of experience or any relevant specialization with a Bachelor's degree in a related field with 7+ years of professional experience 5+ years of experience working in SoC SW development environment is highly desired Rich experience working directly with Intel customers and/or SW ecosystem is highly desired Strong technical background firmware/drivers/operating systems/applications with good system level understanding & hands-on expertise in C/SystemC, C++, system debug and/or driver development.
Experience in working in Intel's software development environment and good understanding of Intel's product life cycle/product architecture highly preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data and conclusions in an easily understandable way to stakeholders and senior management.
Proven experience in dealing with ambiguity & informed risk taking, multiple stakeholder management, creative thinking leading to innovation on the job, enabling team success and excellent influencing skills. Ability to deliver reusable solutions program or enterprise scope, play a leadership role in business development activities for critical business needs/opportunities, independently develop & drive strategy and business acumen to identify, execute, and communicate high value results. Ability to provide technical leadership to SW engineers to perform design to deployment related activities, provide guidance, perform reviews, prevent and resolve technical issues.
