The full user experience of our products is delivered through a combination of Silicon HW and a long stack of product SW including FW, drivers, multiple OS, middleware, applications, and critical workloads. Software Readiness Qualification SRQ aka. SoftPRQ is a corporate initiative aimed at early enabling and testing of critical benchmarks, SW workloads, and Key performance indicators on the Pre-Silicon systems by silicon power on.
As a product SW engineer you play primary role in one or more product segments. You will perform the bring up and qualifying critical SW workloads on Intel's virtual platforms and other pre-si models like Hybrid-FPGA.
You will be exposed to a wide range of critical SW including benchmarks, applications, OS compliance suites, and FW/driers.
You will working with key stakeholders across Intel and with the larger ecosystem. As part of the planning you will also work closely with Pre-si Systems development teams, especially the Simics Virtual Platform Model development teams and share requirements.

We will be looking for a combination of strong technical background, track record of leadership, strong communication and stake-holder management skills. Following are some of the desired qualification and experience.
Master's degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Software Engineering with 2-3+ years of experience or any relevant specialization with a Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5+years of professional experience Strong technical background firmware/drivers/operating systems/applications with good system level understanding. Experience in working in SoC software development environment and good understanding of SoC product life cycle and System architecture highly preferred.Seasoned software engineer with primary technical skills in C++, C or SystemC, system debug and/or driver development.Strong technical/problem solving skills with strong written and verbal communication skills. Team player with ability to independently explore new domains/technologies, execute to commitment with focus on quality.
Having led teams before in designing/developing software solutions is a big plus.
Ability to deal with ambiguity, experience in stakeholder management, innovative thinking and making those ideas work.
