Compensation and Benefits Analyst

Job Description

As a Compensation and Benefits Analyst, you will utilize and apply analytical, problem solving, and partnering skills to provide data driven insights to support corporate, business group, and regional specific compensation and benefits programs. Your responsibilities will span many activities and may include:

* Conducting competitive analysis on compensation and benefits
* Costing and funding to close gaps on competitive positioning
* Creating analysis and data sets that can be utilized by others in support of business requirements
* Providing job classification analysis and recommendations
* Providing analysis, guidance, recommendations and/or administering out of cycle pay actions for individuals and groups
* Auditing practices against guidelines
* Strategic scanning of the external environment
* Designing, implementing, and/or administering locally driven compensation and benefits programs such as paid time off plans and mandatory benefit plans


Must have
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years' experience
• Proven ability to perform complex analytical assignments, including developing analytical models to review large data sets and ability to identify key insights
• Firm grasp of statistical concepts
• Problem solving, partnering and communication skills
• Demonstrated skills utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite of tools, particularly Excel

Nice to have
• Ability to develop and manage business process and programs
• Skills utilizing JMP and/or Tableau
