Job Description
Manages programs of large may be global scope, impact and complexity through all phases of the lifecycle. Manages interdependencies and integration among multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders. Has decision making authority at the program level. Handles cross organizational programs of broad scope and high complexity or of broad scope and moderate complexity usually managing a core team that manages functionally specific teams. Sets direction for programs directly related to corporate policies or important business operations to meet strategic goals of significance. Leads the core team and guides performance of functional teams. Is the key interface with stakeholders and leadership internally and externally. Assigns overall tasks to others managing general areas of responsibility in support of program goals. Exercises judgment and discretion to develops solutions, remove obstacles and redefine approaches. Recommends or sets business strategies or corporate policies and deviates as appropriate. Oversees identification of tasks and research, dependencies, costs assigns resources, and communicates expectations to core team members. Creates/tracks/adjusts the program schedule. Assesses risks and identifies solutions to timely, efficient achievement of program goals Ensures that quality standards and budget constraints are met. Ensures appropriate progress against schedule and takes remedial action as appropriate. Prioritizes utilization of resources with other functions. Influences business unit or crossorganizational strategies relevant to program goals. Has advanced understanding of the technical concepts, architecture, systems, development methods, and disciplines associated with the defined program, and utilizes knowledge to accelerate project completion.

This leader will focus as the IT program manager for High Velocity Product Group. The High Velocity product group is focused on IP and SoC development to intercept Mobile, IoT, 5G and new device markets. The leader will be instrumental in driving a culture change to ensure IT enables our key High Velocity design partners with NEW and AGGRESSIVE products and service to enable Intel shifts in schedule, cost, user experience and quality needs. Critical skills the leader will possess include definition and execution of successful large scale global programs with a solid foundation of external industry experience and competitive practices in optimization and management of design automation, design tools/flows/methods, IP management and integration methods and Engineering Computing infrastructure and the associated infrastructure eco-system. Candidates require 10+ years of relevant IT/Design knowledge and B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical engineering or relevant degree. Solid communication skills, program management skills and a proven track record of influencing and delivering outstanding results are critical. Managing large teams in a global setting specifically emerging markets will be a huge plus.Key initiatives the leader will drive include: IT Time To Market TTM acceleration to meet aggressive quality/schedule challenges, global HUB infrastructure optimization for multiple global programs, understanding and driving infrastructure shifts to support new design methodologies and driving a new support model with aggressive SLA's and 24x7 design operations.
