TA/Chief of Staff- PSG Software Engineering PSWE

Job Description

Programmable Software Engineering PSWE group within the Programmable Solutions Engineering PSE organization is responsible for all aspects of software engineering towards the development of state-of the- art FPGAs. PSWE is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to assume Technical Assistant TA and Chief of Staff CoS responsibilities for the Vice President of the group. The TA/CoS will be responsible for creating a productive and collaborative environment within the organization

-50% of the responsibilities within the role would align to TA activities and 50% to ensure operations for the team are aligned with broader PSE.

-The TA/CoS will need to be creative, strategically adept, detail-oriented, and able to make some decisions independently in the best interest of the overall PSE organization, including their immediate group. There are a wide range of activities inherent in this role and include, but are not limited to: Owning, developing and compiling presentation materials for any internal and external engagements. Driving technical deliverables of the group to meet goals and tracking progress thereof. Content creation for internal and external communications including All Hands Open Forums, Face to Face meetings aligned to the overall organization charters. Managing staff operations agendas, annual imperatives, strategic topics, biz/project updates, recognition. Structuring staff agendas, operation reviews, project reviews, etc while driving operational efficiencies. Establishing the priorities for the VP's calendar in concert with the Admin team taking into account organizational and cross group schedules and commitments. Providing clarification and issue resolution/escalation in support of the VP's organization. Representing the VP in requested meetings, networking to facilitate collaboration across groups and using networks to accomplish goals Identifying ways to develop leadership within the group in keeping with the organizational goals. Fostering a culture of inclusion, diversity and excellence within the organization


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
-BS in Engineering, 8+ years of relevant experience related to semiconductor manufacturing industries

Preferred Qualifications
-The optimal candidate is self-driven and has a demonstrated ability to survey the environment and come up with relevant action plans to help the VP be more effective.
-MBA preferred, but not required.
-Candidates should have demonstrated ability to create and drive strategies, work independently, simultaneously manage diverse assignments while remaining organized and productive in an highly interrupt driven environment
-Must possess a well-developed ability to read the internal and external landscape, must have strong business acumen in order to understand, prioritize, and act on the many requests received
-Strong ability to influence and collaborate is a must in this position as success will be measured by ability to influence situations where no formal authority exists
-Skilled at identifying and optimizing areas of ongoing concern within the business both structurally and operationally
-Excellent organizational skills, written and oral communications skills
-Strong desire and commitment to achieve operational excellence
-Must demonstrate strong leadership, teamwork, resourcefulness, and be trustworthy with sensitive information Business Group
