This is an engineering technician position for a boutique assembly line that delivers specialized saw cut and assembly of small volumes of die into packages that to provide data for process certification. The engineering tech is expected to provide key sustaining support for the area: troubleshooting process, recipe, and equipment issues, providing new product introduction setup, and executing maintenance. Work complexity varies and can range up to highly complex and nonstandard assignments in nature and broadly defined parameters. High degree of judgment and initiative is needed to resolve nonstandard problems and developing recommendations. The responsibilities are primarily process and operations focused work, and to a lesser extent, tool debug/maintenance:- Process - includes custom work to develop recipes in saw, die attach, and bond tools. Capture electronic documentation for recipes. Work with engineering on new tool qual or process development also expected.- Operations - daily engagement is expected with operations technicians, providing trouble-shooting for lots on hold and tool issues. This person is expected to be fully operations certified to enable better problem solving and to provide backup operations support if needed. - Tool - includes limited maintenance on wafer saw toolset, die attach tools, and bond. May involve designing & ordering fixtures for new process development.- Be a role model of the "Safety, Quality, Velocity, Output" mantra and nurture this culture
