Job Description
A candidate for a temporary position who has not yet graduated and is working towards a relevant Bachelor's, Specialist's, Technical, Master's or PhD degree from a relevant academic institute. A Student employee can do specific work in the area of his future degree or work as a Generalist in a specific department. The Studentship is limited in time with the intent to hire into an College Graduate/Technical Graduate position as appropriate.

A Student employee can do specific work in the area of his future degree or work as a specialist in a specific department.The candidate will be part of SPI Silicon Product Integration team that is responsible for testing and validation of our product in different projects. This position is for a software engineer student, developing automation test infrastructure, tools, lab maintenance and performing automated validation tasks on ND SIE FW.QualificationsA candidate must be a student currently pursuing a first or second degree in Computer Science or Engineering from a relevant academic institute with at least two years left of studies. Preference for students working on advanced degrees - BSc/ BA graduate in computer science - proven previous experience in C/Python development.Advantage: Good problem solving capability and ability to work minimum 25 hours per week.Additional relevant skills and characteristics include: Excellent self-learning capabilities.Good and fluent Hebrew and English.SPI Team is responsible for the regression tests execution in different projects, development, and analysis of the product quality.Department Profile: SPI Team is the part of the RACE GROUP Revenue Applications Custom Engineering , that is focusing on maximizing revenue opportunities by supporting Tier1 customers with custom solutions for launched Networking Ethernet products, scaling out platform configurations and prototyping new applications to exploit the growing configurability of Ethernet Silicon. RACE is assuming FW development responsibilities for launched products, in addition to NVM/HW Customization, Integration and Validation.Responsibilities/Functions/Tasks:Creating and maintenance tests in Python language to test FW in a lab environment working with an existing automation framework.Collecting, analyzing and presenting validation results from lab equipment and sharing them with the development teams and project management.Maintenance and support ND Lab equipment related to RACE GROUP's projects.
