DescriptionIn this position, you will be a member of the Data Center Group Performance Marketing team. This team is responsible for performance benchmarking and competitive analysis to enable DCG, Intel end user field sales teams, OEMs and extended teams to highlight Intel capabilities and benefits. This is a high visibility role within DCG and there are significant opportunities for internal, field sales and end-customer engagements. Your responsibilities will include:Delivering cross DCG portfolio of server, comms/telco, network, storage and software portfolio proof-points for launch and other key events Planning, managing, and delivering to performance marketing objectives around upcoming technologies in the datacenter for each of the DCG segments Delivering analysis and performance comparisons to include various workloads across platformsConfiguring systems and benchmarking Articulating complex technical and architectural comparisons in verbal and written communication with demonstrated presentation skillsDeveloping technical presentations and training for internal and customer audiences identifying key features and highlighting their solution valueDevelop and maintain database tools to prioritize benchmarking activity and report generationMaintaining and adding new capabilities to the performance web portal to enable field and end users navigate through Intel's website and find performance proof pointsWork with partner teams like SSG, NSG, and DCG business units to understand new and emerging usages and help drive workload development
Inside this Business Group
Candidate must have a Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
Minimum of 2 years of experience with system configuration, testing and benchmarking.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in C, C++, Java, and/or scripting languages
Minimum of 1 year of experience in :
Linux and Windows* Operating system.
Re-building kernels, compiling open source code or projects, LAMP stack.
Debugging and troubleshooting PC, workstation, or server solutions.
Computer architecture building blocks (processor, graphics, storage, networking, and software)
Microsoft* Excel and PowerPoint.
Understanding of Intel datacenter Technologies.
Written communication and demonstrated presentation skills.
