Manager, Global Compensation

Job Description

Intel Security has an opportunity for a Global Compensation Manager. The Global Compensation Manager leads the on-going development and global execution of Intel Security compensation plan and provides compensation analysis and expertise to Executives, Managers and HR Business Partners.


  • Leads the global compensation team and worldwide compensation related programs
  • Provides consultative technical expertise, advice and guidance regarding compensation to Executives, Managers and Human Resources Business Partners and Recruitment team
  • Provides leadership, coaching and supportive material to members of each of the HR Centers of Excellence streams (including Total Rewards, HRBP and Talent Acquisition) on compensation matters as they relate to their functions/responsibilities
  • Reviews and develops compensation programs and plans including Executive compensation
  • Researches, gathers and analyzes internal data as well as market data such as salary, incentive and other cash-based allowance information
  • Organizes and leads an annual assessment of the company’s compensation programs competitive position to market
  • Evaluates jobs using selected job evaluation method
  • Maintains/updates Job Profiles and associated information within Workday
  • Develops and delivers communications and presentations for compensation programs
  • Conducts and participates in local and industry compensation surveys
  • Participates as key project team member in HRIS enhancement projects
  • Leads and administers global bonus programs and short-term incentive plans in collaboration with FP&A
  • Administers private equity plans and produces ongoing reports for senior leaders and investors
  • Leads the administration of the annual focal review and merit increases program
  • Provides compensation reporting in Workday and leads efforts to develop standard compensation reporting
  • Leads the review of the annual sales compensation plans in coordination with the sales commissions team and FP&A
  • Provides feedback to HRBP on job description content where necessary
  • Supports ad hoc HR projects as required
  • May perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications & Experience:

  • University degree plus 5-10 years of experience as a senior compensation analyst, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience, preferably in operational and global business environments
  • Knowledge of HR principles and practices, particularly with respect to equity plans, incentive plans, ongoing salary management.
  • High-level proficiency with Excel
  • HRIS System knowledge/experience (Peoplesoft, Oracle, SAP or Workday preferably)
  • Must have excellent time management skills in meeting deadlines
  • Must have ability to switch priorities at a moment’s notice and reorganize and reset expectations for deliverables
  • Exercises considerable judgment, tact and discretion in preparing and handling information of a sensitive nature
  • Maintains employee confidence and keeps human resource information confidential
  • Must be resourceful and have a customer-focused attitude
