Analog Component Design Engineer

Job Description
Develop, test, release, and support analog components in Process Design Kits PDK for both internal Intel SoC and external foundry customer circuit designs. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: - Modification and evaluation of passive semiconductor components and active semiconductor devices and translating specifications into circuit requirements. - Specification and development of parameterized cells pCells for active/passive devices for all SoC process flavors and scalable use. - Standardization of Intel device template models/schematics/layout cell views for plug & play use with industry standard CAD tool flows e.g. Cadence, Synopsys. - Establishing and executing a robust process design collateral test suite for PDK functionality/quality and release process. - Performing device and circuit simulation, variation/EM/RV/aging analysis, custom layout, Design Rule Checking DRC, Layout Versus Schematic LVS checking, and parasitic extraction. - Creating and managing usage specification documents/whitepapers for all process collateral. Includes process file/variation/aging tables, verification flows, mask layer usage, and special device templates. - Development and support of computer aided design CAD automation tools/flows to enhance device, sub-block, and full chip design effectiveness. - Supporting external foundry design customers on process collateral and design kits - Supporting and conducting power-performance-area related design evaluations for Intel foundry customers


M.A.SC. in Electrical Engineering with 1+ years experience in analog circuit design, analog component design, or device modeling
