As a client platform debugger you will be part of a unique team which brings Intel client products alive for the first time (Power On) and enable the whole validation cycle of the product for (HW & SW) in post silicon.
Lead and support high complexity, multi-disciplinary (HW, SW, Analogue, System) debug activities, which will come from both internal validation within Intel and from our key customers. You will be responsible for the development of methodologies and tools for debug of failures, as well as validate and contribute to the definition of new on-die debug/test features. The role requires broad understanding of system aspects, and assumes close interaction with Intel business units, Architecture, Design, and Pre - silicon Validation teams, thus provides a rare exposure to the full product life cycle

BS/MS or equivalent in EE or CS with at least 5-10 years of experience in microprocessor validation, including focused experience in the area of out-of-order execution .CPU micro-architecture including knowledge of areas such as out-of-order execution, processor pipelines, Memory load and store, Cache Coherency, Paging, Microcode etc. Knowledge of CPU assembly, and the ability to understand RTL Verilog and/or System Verilog. Python/Perl Scripting and C/C++ knowledge. High proficiency in independent debug of RTL failures to root-cause functional bugs speedily Familiarity with Emulation environment and tools . Knowledge of Desktop and SoC platform architectures, post silicon validation and debug tools T32/DCI & flows is a plus. Able to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
