The EMEA Trade Manager will lead trade compliance strategy in EMEA and develop, implement and maintain programs, policies, procedures and controls to ensure compliance with U.S. Export Law and local law and regulations. The role will be responsible for ensuring compliance and will work across functionally with supply chain, human resources, sales, IT, and order operations. ResponsibilitiesManages worldwide policies and procedures in compliance with EU Export/Customs RegulationsLiaises with international colleagues and government agencies/officials to ensure optimum benefits and minimal liabilities in the export compliance areaOversee Europe/Middle East/Africa RegionMonitor Russia/Ukraine SanctionsAssign ECCNs and HTS numbers to McAfee products in accordance with EU regulations, and validate export classifications for EU member countriesDetermine import/export licensing for EMEA countriesConduct quarterly audits on order processing and fulfillment partner activities to ensure compliance with EU export regulationsBrief all relevant employees on the scope and limitations of all export approvalsMonitor the scope and sufficiency of all EU licenses, permits and agreementsReview job descriptions for foreign nationals to ensure no US deemed export license is requiredCoordinate activities with freight forwarders and Customs brokers regarding appropriate export and import licenses, permits and other documentsSets strategy/direction for handling export audits in the EU Liaison with senior managers internallyDrives process improvements both within the group and with other groups affecting export operationsEnsure compliance with company policy for documentation and record retention Interprets EU regulation changes and make internal adjustments accordinglyConduct periodic trainingEnsure compliance under CGEAContract Review for EMEA contractsRegister McAfee products in France to comply with French encryption regulations
