Intel Security planned to be an independent McAfee in 2017 delivers proactive, proven security solutions and services that protect systems, networks, and mobile devices for business and personal use around the world. We are looking for a senior ethics and compliance attorney reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer to represent a diverse group of global clients.
A Day In The Life:
Creates and maintains policies, procedures, and controls for our Intel Security ethics and compliance program to prevent, detect, and remediate illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
Provides proper corporate tracking and reporting on ethics & compliance issues.
Collaborates with other internal groups, outside counsel, and other outside vendors to investigate, analyze and resolve potential ethics and compliance issues.
Audit and monitor compliance to Intel Security's policies and global laws.
Tracks and applies relevant laws and regulations to keep the company legal and identify enforcement trends.
Conducts anti-corruption due diligence on channel partners and suppliers.
Creates, tracks and maintains employee training and communications on ethics & compliance issues and the corporate Code of Conduct.
Identifies potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk and applies corrective actions.
Establishes and manages the ethics & compliance hotline
Inside this Business Group
J.D. with a minimum of 7 years of relevant legal experience implementing ethics & compliance programs
2-3 years of in-house experienceActive membership in at least one U.S. state bar
Experience designing, implementing and monitoring global compliance programs
Experience creating, tracking and maintaining employee training and communications on ethics & compliance issues
Experience conducting internal investigations, including interviews, document review and investigation report drafting
Strong knowledge and application of worldwide anti-corruption laws, and the U.S. Federal Sentencing Guidelines
Ability to independently manage a diverse and complex workload while maintaining priorities and proactively anticipating issues
Consistent good judgment and ability to work within a sales-driven culture to craft practical, business-oriented solutions in keeping with applicable laws and regulations
Strong teaming skills inside and outside the legal organization approaches work with flexibility and a positive attitude, and constructively manages change
Strong strategic thinking and project management skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
