The Learning Coordinator, is responsible for partnering with the HR and Learning teams to provide operational program management and support for all learning and performance management related activities. The coordinator will support the development and execution of organizational development, including, but not limited to Instructor Led Programs, External Consultant Programs, and On-demand learning. The ideal candidate should be highly competent in written and spoken English, take initiative to drive performance improvement with a self-service approach. Past experience in learning coordination preferred.
Program management of all learning activities initiated by the Learning Consultants
Liaising with Learning Support Analysts to ensure timely and correct action on Learning Action Plans
Oversee program announcements preparation and launch
Create and maintain Project plan for the Learning team
Learning supplier administration, PO creation and reconciliation
Manage internal website – maintain, update, manage training calendars
Report training activity and metrics for courses
Create and maintain process documents, maintain and monitor performance standards
Manage user accounts and structure for Learning & Development SharePoint site
Manage and track programs for employee learning to include learning portals, on-demand learning such as Lynda.com, compliance and other required training.
Build relationships with key stakeholders in all departments
Talent analytics for reporting organizational learning; dashboard management and system management.
Develops and tracks measurements and effectiveness of employee learning
Creating and maintaining quarterly learning dashboards
Tracking of training requests
Session & Vendor Management and Classroom setup
Event planning and management
Make refreshment arrangements, giveaways, materials needed for program
Reserve/arrange for configuring of equipment as needed
On-Site program management, some travel required
Order, distribute training materials
Source appropriate suppliers as required
Activity User Profile Management
Establish learning activity profiles
Check and approve new course requests
Determine appropriate curriculum, activity and reporting configurations
Ensure course is assigned to appropriate audiences
Manage catalogue grouping
Publish e-learning activities in the LMS
Ensures learners are assigned to appropriate audiences
Publishes reports by department/audience/learning activity
Answer or escalate support centre incidents
Preference is for at least 3 years of learning coordination experience with desire to further develop skills in Leadership & Organization Development
Preference is for a degree in HR/Learning/OD
Mature professional – must operate independently, and in a team environment
Must possess ability to learn new applications and processes within the scope described above and support Learning Consultants
Must be able to anticipate internal customer needs and recommend resolution
Must work with a broad range of individuals and clients within a variety of cultures
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Flexibility to operate within a changing environment based on customer driven demand
Strong personal organization skills
Computer literacy, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office desktop applications and Learning Management Systems
Experience working with the SumTotal LMS a plus
