The Application Engineer is primarily a Software Engineer. Significant contribution also result when the AE acts as a product evangelist, program/project manager and a marketer. Application Engineers act as consultants and provide support to third party product developers. In this position, you will be managing existing and new relationships with ISVs, OEMs and Internet Data Centers in APAC. You will work closely with DCG, SMG, DPD Product Marketing, and engineering teams. You will focus on the integration of Intel middleware into third party software management consoles, supporting business development activity and driving industry sales and marketing programs to accelerate the product adoption. Responsibilities: -Working with customers to integrate Intel DCM middleware into third party management consoles. -Represent all technical aspects of Intel power management technologies in customer engagements.-Develop use cases, white papers and pilots with major Data Centers globally using Intel power management technologies. -Represent the technical team during product demo's and selling situations which showcase Intel power management technologies. -Delivering keynotes, webinars and training sessions at industry forums and sales meetings which highlight Intel power management. -Supporting proof of concepts underway. -Introduce technical features and benefits of Intel Data Center power management solutions. -Work with Licensee Channels and major OEM customers to plan and execute product go to market programs. Provide training build strategic business alliance and provide direct support to significant projects and/or customers -Providing feedback regarding market requirements for product improvement in addition to identifying new usage models for platform software technologies developed by SSG -Providing reviews and updating to the global DPD team and DPD General Manager regarding customer, product and ROI activities -Individual contributor initially with potential growth to manager depending on business development experience.
