The Intel Drone team, a part of the New Technology group, has an exciting charter to build Intel's presence and business model for unmanned aerial systems UAS, better known as drones. The team is chartered with launching new drone systems for commercial and lightshow applications and building ingredients to support the development of drones with Intel Inside.The HW Engineering Manager plans, provides resources for and directs activities in engineering function to meet schedules, standards, and cost. Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms and behaviors. Identifies and analyzes problems, plans, tasks, and solutions. Provides guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity issues. Plans and schedules daily tasks, uses judgement on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices. Inadequacies and erroneous decisions would cause moderate inconvenience and expense.

Build the drone engineering team. A manager with an extensive knowledge and experience of PCB design including electro-mechanical integration and global certification requirements. Capable of driving an engineering group of highly experienced experts of technology to develop the Intel solutions in drone technology. Positivity, Commitment, collaboration and responsibility together with being initiative and inspiring. You should possess a BS or MS in engineering or similar with 15+ years of experience that includes Project and/or Program Management and people management roles for HW consumer electronics or component development and product delivery. A strong engineering background, with experience in HW development and product delivery. Excellent communication and verbal skills are required.- Strong leadership skills, conflict management.- Positive attitude is a must!!- Candidate needs to demonstrate a high level of flexibility and ability to participate in multiple areas of a nimble organization. - A proven ability to set goals and execute is required - we are looking for someone who gets things done.
