Job Description

Intel Vietnam site is searching for a passionate and energized Safety Engineer to drive and manage EHS programs and processes for Assembly Test Manufacturing ATM as it moves thru tool install, qualification, start-up phases and into a sustaining mode. The Safety Engineer should have a good understanding of the EHS disciplines. The successful candidate will need to have technical competence and the ability to influence others. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:- Inform and lead stakeholders for EHS compliance OSHA, legal regulation, updated regulation changes.- Managing the Equipment Sign Off Process- Managing safety programs such as Control of Hazardous Energies, Electrical safety, Confined space, Fall Protection Hazards- Supporting ATM Safety Training as needed- Assisting the ATM management with maintaining the required Personal protective equipment PPE and Safety equipment required for operations and maintenance- Support emergency planning and preparedness for example drills, evacuation maps, assembly- Represents EHS during ATM meetings such as readiness and operational meetings- Ensuring compliance with Vietnam regulatory agencies and Corporate EHS for permits, approvals, licenses, reporting, and document retention- Examining plans and specifications for new machinery or equipment, facilities, to determine if appropriate safety precautions have been included- Responsible for touring the factory to inspect fire and safety equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations- Facilitate job hazard analysis JHA for tools / machines, both existing and new tools.- Investigating occupational incidents to minimize recurrence


Minimum Qualification Skills Must Have Skills:Bachelor of Science degree in Safety, Environmental, Industrial Hygiene or related field with practical experience gained while in college or personal initiatives. Strong English communications skills in both written and verbal.
