The successful candidate's minimum qualifications will include the following: * PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience on mixed-mode serial links and/or ADC-based digital serial links. * Thorough knowledge in communication and digital signal processing, in particular, modulation, error correction, equalization, noise analysis, adaptation algorithms * Solid knowledge in common various serdes standards, such as PCIe, 10G-KR, 802.3bj etc. * Solid understanding of Serdes architecture, circuit limitations and system level issues such as signal integrity and power integrity * Experience with serdes lab validation and correlation * Matlab/Simulink programming, C++ and Verilog * Good communication and presentation skills can effectively work cross multi-functional teams
