Senior Design Engineer

Job Description
As part of Intel, we will continue to apply Moore's Law to drive the future of field-programmable gate array FPGA technology. The Programmable Solutions Group PSG has been delivering industry-leading custom logic solutions to customers since inventing the world's first reprogrammable logic device in 1984. In order to take advantage of the many opportunities that we see in the future for FPGA's, PSG is looking for great engineers to join our teams.As Senior Design Engineer in IC Engineering department, you will be working on Full Chip timing closure execution. You will work with the design teams to define timing budgets and timing corners and work to close timing on high speed Chip level interfaces. You will lead and guide IP teams in all aspects of the SoC FPGA / ASIC design and timing model collateral integration and validation. You will develop innovative timing closure methodology for pre-silicon and post silicon timing validation. You will interface with Intel Quartus team on STA and Quartus timing correlation.


Qualifications:BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer EngineeringAdditional Preferred Qualifications:MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.Experience in Logic Design and high level languages like Verilog and System Verilog.Experience in Synthesis, Physical Implementation and Timing closure using industry standard EDA tools.Experience in closing timing at Full chip level for advance geometry like 14nm, 16nm and 10nm.Strong Experience in using Synopsys Prime Time, HSPICE and Signal/Noise analysis tools.Experience in scripting languages like Tcl, Perl and Python.Experience in FPGA development and timing closure.
