Quartus Prime software contains highly scalable algorithms, a hierarchical database infrastructure, and a unified compiler, which enables hardware designers to accelerate design schedules and increase FPGA performance.
As a Software Engineer within the Device Configuration and Control Modeling group, you will work with a team of engineers to develop the tools in the Quartus Prime Design Software to generate configuration bitstreams, mitigate the effects of single event upset (SEU) soft errors in a design, and ensure bit-level preservation of certified IP functions between design revisions.

This position's minimum qualifications and competencies include:
o BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent (MS preferred)
o 5 years of software development experience using C++ and Python, with at least 3 years in developing large-scale, commercial software products
o Strong object oriented design/programming and test-driven development skills
o Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
o Strong written and oral communication skills
o Able to implement complex software solutions from design concept to implementation delivery with minimal supervision
Desired qualifications and competencies include:
o Experience working with FPGAs and embedded systems
o Familiarity with security concepts and principles, and SEU mitigation techniques
