Sr. Technical Account Manager

Job Description
This is a commissioned sales position. Responsible for selling information technology solutions to customers. This includes identifying potential customers, initiating a sales relationship, preparing and presenting a solution, and finalizing the sales process. Customer contacts are likely to be department or division managers who have a wider scope of responsibility. Has decision-making/negotiating authority within generally defined guidelines with some room for interpretation. Directs a business development team responsible for of attracting new business and expanding acceptance and influence of company. Develops business plans for emerging technologies or specific industries. Responsibilities include generating demand with resellers and end-user customers. Responsible to grow mind-share, product awareness, and business relationships.
