Product Development Engineer

Job Description

Job Description: Responsible for ensuring the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from the component feasibility stage through production ramp. Make significant contributions to design, development and validation of testability circuits. Evaluation, development and debug of complex test methods. Develops and debugs complex software programs to convert design validation vectors and drive complex test equipment. Creates and tests validation and production test hardware solutions. Tests, validates, modifies and re-designs circuits to guarantee component margin to specification. Analyzes and evaluates component specification versus performance to ensure optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability with specific emphasis on yield analysis and bin split capability. Analyzes early customer returns with emphasis on driving test hole closure activities. Creates and applies concepts for optimizing component production relative to both quality and cost constraints. Autonomously plans and schedules own daily tasks, develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.


MS in Electrical/Electronics or Computer Engineering (Preferred)
BS in Electrical/Electronics or Computer Engineering

- CMOS, Analog/Digital Circuits, Layouts, Device Physics
- Basic understanding of NV Memories, DDR, SRAM
- Pre and Post Silicon Validation Methods and Techniques

Minimum Skills:
- Pre/Post Si Circuit (Analog/Digital) Level Debugging - min 5 yrs experience
- Micro-Probing, Characterization, Testing Circuits - min 3 yrs experience
- Simulation using Verilog, HSIM, HSPICE - min 3 yrs experience
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills - min 5 yrs experience
- Scripting in Perl, Unix - min 3 yrs experience

Other Skills
- Experiences in Statistical/Data Analysis Tools (JMP, Excel etc.) is desirable
- Experience in DFM/DFT is highly desirable
- Yield Analysis, Improvement and HVM experiences is preferred
- Good documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work Individually and as a Team
- Self Motivated, disciplined, professional and good work ethics

Min 5 Yrs in related field/company
Prior intern experiences in related field/company
