Executive Communications Director - Client and Int

Job Description

This position directly supports the executive communications needs of Intels President of Client and Internet of Things IoT Businesses and Systems Architecture Group. The position will closely partner with Intel's most senior executives to develop and execute impactful internal and external communications strategies.The person in this role must be a credible, experienced communications strategist, who has previously worked for a large, complex organization. Candidates must possess the ability to develop and execute successful communications strategies and programs that are aligned to the business needs of the company.In this role you will:Serve as a communications adviser and strategist to the CISA President and other senior executives in support of business group and enterprise-wide business goals and strategies.Apply business knowledge and communications expertise to develop and lead communications strategies that advance enterprise-wide business objectives.Develop integrated communication plans for executive level external/internal programs, and initiatives, including communications positioning, messaging, and tactics.Be the point of contact on executive communications plan recommendations with Investor Relations, Analyst Relations, Press Relations, Government Relations, Corporate Marketing and others.Oversee the screening and recommendation of executive speaking opportunities as well as orchestrate and manage the pipeline of speaking engagements, including evaluating the opportunities, collaborating with internal subject matter experts, and coordinating with the broader communications team.Write strategic communication plans and creative briefs, research and analyze information, write articles and prepare presentations PowerPoint presentations, speeches, press releases, contributed articles, and talking points.Plan and manage an influencer and social strategy for the executive, thereby amplifying the executive's impact and influence. Plan logistics, and manage overall coordination of various executive activities in conjunction with the team to deliver on communications and events.Manage communication programs and initiatives involving multiple business areas and targeting broad-based internal and external audiences.Engage and coordinate across executive stakeholders and subject-matter experts to ensure strategic business objectives are supported through integrated communications programs that represent stakeholder perspectives and meet business needs.Conduct appropriate needs assessment and audience analysis to support effective development of communications programs and materials.Select the most appropriate methods and channels to deliver executive communications.


Minimum Qualifications: MBA or MA preferred in communications or related field 7 years+ experience in internal and external business communications or press relations.

Desired Experience: contributing to business goals through strategic communications. Experience managing enterprise-wide communications across large, complex organizations. Experience working across internal and external communications with a strong understanding of how they influence each other.Experience in corporate communications, public relations, press relations writing and editing.Excellent written and verbal communications skills Demonstrated ability to plan and manage complex projects, ability to work effectively with team members and senior executives under tight deadlines. Must have a good understanding of Intel's business and technology as well as of the ecosystem competitor landscape, etc.Must be well organized, thoughtful, proactive and assertive
