We focus on designing and delivering solutions for Devices and PC, including processors, chipsets, motherboards, new IP, 5G, and software and services.
Responsibilities In this position you will be part of Platform Engineering Group PEG Hardware validation platform design team, responsible for designing validation platforms for the next generation processors and chipsets. You will be part of a team responsible for system level design and schematic capture for validation motherboards and test cards including DDR, PCI-E, CPU, Video, LAN, SATA, 5G, RF, power delivery, clocking, and other validation features. You will be interfacing multisite with other board designers, PCB layout designers, signal integrity engineers, board fabricators and Intel validation teams to help define and implement the platform feature set. You will also be debugging and verifying system implementations.

You should possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
You should have strong skills and at least 10 year experience in hardware development and system integration must be a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
A qualified candidate also needs to have
1.Expertise in Intel Architecture
2.Strong knowledge on DDR4/LPDDR4, PCIe, SATA, USB, I2C and SMBus3.Extensive experience in schematic capture, layout guidance, prototype board bring-up, debugging and design verification
4.Experience in power delivery, voltage regulators
5.Expertise on using Logic Analyzer, Protocol Analyzer, Oscilloscope and Signal Generator
6.Basic skills in signal integrity analysis
7.Hands-on experience with Cadence Allegro is a plus
8.Experience in designing high volume, high quality products for full project cycle and manufacturing support is a plus.
Additional preferable qualifications:
1.Technical experience with digital components, including understanding the application of different logic families.
2.Programming skills in tools such as C, Visual Basic, Python, or other scripting languages.
3.Experience with programmable logic devices PLD - Verilog for Altera or Xilinx devices4.Good verbal and written communication skills are required as a highly disciplined approach to problem solving.
