Intel is seeking an Interior Designer Intern to work in our Ronler campus in Hillsboro, OR. Our Interior Design intern will make a big impact by helping develop and implement design standards and solutions to achieve the goal of world class in great place to work. The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits: -Strong organizational skills. -Strong presentation and graphic skills. -Highly creative and can bring abstract ideas into sustainable design. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Project Management Duties and Responsibilities: Complete full site assessment for compliance to design and office standards. Recommend improvements to improve site aesthetics, color enhancements and curb appeal. Prepare materials for design presentations. Prepare scope of projects in partnership with small construction Perform field verifications, coordinate assembly of project books Coordinate work on approved projects Present designs and communicate effectively with team and clients Follow and be able to speak to current industry trends on space, function, lighting, finishes, furniture and equipment, etc.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualification Skills Must Have Skills: -Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture with a minimum 3.25 GPA. -Basic knowledge required to effectively select and specify materials and products. -Experience in designing and coordinating FF&E Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment packages. -Ability to draw interior elevations and detail interior architecture. -Knowledge in the preparation of design and construction documents. -Candidates must have a Permanent Right to Work without sponsorship -Availability Summer 2017 Preferred Skills Nice to Have Skills: -Minimum of 6 months experience with programming and space planning skills.
