Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplineStrong communication and influencing skills are essential, including the ability to work across multiple geographical locations7+ years of experience in networking system aspects, protocols and stacks, such as L2-L6, DHCP, VLAN, IGMP, QoS, VoIP protocols4+ years of hands on experience in Linux Kernel, device drivers, Linux kernel networking and open source 4+ years of experience in system architecture/engineering role covering the following:Designing and leading implementation of complex software and/or system architectures Software engineering including requirements management, architecture definitionDemonstrated experience making effective architectural trade-offs between competing objectives e.g. power versus performance, flexibility versus complexity, etc.Additional QualificationsExperience designing systems or software based on Intel IA and/or MIPS architectureExperience with Opensource projects and communities like Linux kernel kernel.org , OpenWRT openwrt.org etc.Experience with DSL and/or PON standards and management protocolsExperience in SoC and Systems for CPE, routers, gateways, and/or NAS boxes
