Student for Wifi Algorithms Team

Job Description

A candidate for a temporary position who has not yet graduated and is working towards a Master's or PhD degree from a relevant academic institute. A Student employee can do specific work in the area of their future degree or work as a Generalist in a specific department. The Studentship is limited in time with the intent to hire into a College Graduate/Technical Graduate position as appropriate.

The Wi-Fi algorithms team develops state of the art modems for next generation Wifi devices. The work includes algorithmic research and development in the fields of communication, estimation and signal processing as well as more practical work of programming in Matlab and C and supporting the VLSI team by writing hardware spec documents.


Qualifications

-M.Sc. student, in the fields of communication, signal processing, advantage for students in their first year with high average grades
-Knowledge in Matlab is an advantage
-Availability of 3 days/week
-Good level of English
