The Programmable Solutions Group PSG has been delivering industry-leading custom logic solutions to customers since inventing the world's first reprogrammable logic device. In order to take advantage of the many opportunities that we see in the future for FPGA's, PSG is looking for enthusiastic hardware and silicon validation engineers to join our team.As a senior validation engineer you should have successful track record as an individual contributor in delivering multiple complex projects in board design, bring up and silicon validation areas. Experience in schedule management, meeting cost targets, and efficient closure of trade-off studies. Ability to work as a leader or individual contributor, depending upon program demands. Project management skills, project planning, schedule creation and maintenance, and project execution to consistently hit program targets is desired. The responsibilities of this position includes but not limited to creating hardware functional specifications based on validation requirements, driving board design working with vendors, high speed signal integrity analysis, device characterization and debug. In addition responsibilities will also include developing post silicon validation test plans for FPGA products, executing test plans and generating appropriate test reports.
Inside this Business Group
BSEE degree with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in hardware/board design/validation areas.
Experience with high speed oscilloscopes, BERT, pattern generators, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
Good working experience with C/C++/Perl/TCL/Python
Experience in FPGA bring up and validation is desired
