Construction Master Scheduler
Drives the global vision for Install and Qual for Construction scheduling and related systems for the factories. Develops analysis that provides risk assessments on completion timeframes, protects capability of key milestones at both the tool level and project level, understands and optimizes resource frequencies, optimizes contractor efficiencies, provides a set of indicators that measures project risk that can be responded to, and provides data that facilitates benchmarking to the industry. Develops and uses systems as the basis for continuous improvement efforts and leverages statistical analysis of data to drive improvements in funding methods, contractor efficiencies and project durations. Participates in Schedule Integration process. Presents and clearly communicates scope progress, problems and solutions at the Work Group, OAC, AIM or other management review forums as required. To develop level 1, level 2, milestone definitions. And develop micro schedules to drive critical portions of scope or to recover program schedule. Consistently maintain project schedules to ensure data provided to the schedule integration manager accurately defines program schedule risks. Challenge schedule durations and logic ties by partnering with stakeholders to understand and correct incorrect assumptions and/or changing scope requirements. Lead project team and stakeholders to collaborate in the schedule update process to ensure accuracy of information provided and reduce the impact of schedule delays to successor activities.Master Scheduler will manage the schedule integration process to define integration touch-points between projects, track construction progress, document commitments and compare construction forecasts to changing needs. The master scheduler will also work directly with the schedulers from the various general contractors and design build teams to monitor schedule risk and ensure standard methodologies are employed including: - Review weekly or bi-weekly the schedules published by the constructor. - Ensure schedule published contains all coding and details as required by contract. - Ensure the schedule logic is complete with proper use of lags and constraints. - Monitor float to program needs. - Review leading indicators such as Float Trend, PAS, Start Finish Curves and more. - Maintain milestone documents
