They must comprehend Intel architecture offerings and fellow traveler solution offerings targeted at cloud service provider data centers and infrastructure. Very important to success in this role is the ability to be a strong trusted advisor in solving challenging technical and business problems towards the benefit of the customer and Intel. This person must be self-motivated, self-sufficient with ability to stay current on emerging industry trends, technologies, and issues. Cloud Service Provider industry business and technical experience with strong knowledge of computer and communications industry technical solutions is desirable. The ideal candidate must possess a strong knowledge of cloud and data center technologies, Intel server products, industry server platforms, ingredients within the platforms memory, IO, storage, networking, and their relationship to cloud solutions for end-customer usage and benefit. The candidate must have excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to represent Intel in the industry as a 'business and technology evangelist' for our cloud service delivery strategy. This person must be comfortable working at senior levels within Intel and within their customer and have demonstrated the ability to identify and drive customer requirements & market needs into actionable goals.This is a commissioned sales position. Responsible for Influencing and advocating Intel based products and solutions for all of Intel's Business units through a vertically oriented, solutions led approach to Business and IT. Responsible for working with a few named accounts in specific industry segments or territories where deep engagements require a multi year strategy with the customer around transformation and territory engagements take the more traditional approach. Impact should result in executive level trusted advisor status which should drive our relevance, preference and pull for our strategic focus areas. This role covers both ICs AND those Managing the teams.
