This is a position within Memory & Systems Outsourcing (MSO) group, a central group within Intel's Global Supply Management organization. The core function is Account Management for the Data Center Group (DCG). The Account Management team provides the primary interface between MSO and DCG and is accountable for delivering technical and commercial supply chain solutions.As a Strategic Supply Chain Manager, you will help define Business Unit engagement strategy and plan for their Supply Chain needs. You will orchestrate product enablement, lead internal and external alignment and be a single point of contact to drive 'one voice'. You will help ensure new products are completed on time, within cost target, and that volume ramps are not limited by the supply chain. You may drive multiple programs simultaneously and work with key stakeholders to identify and implement total lowest cost/risk solutions. You'll assess risk, identify issues, and work cross-organizationally to resolve problems. You may be interacting with architects, engineering, third party suppliers, technical leads, and finance. Strong stakeholder management skills are key to establish business relationships with Business Unit partners and Suppliers. Responsibilities include defining supply chain strategies and implementing solutions as well as executing on Intel managed product builds. In addition, the responsibilities include establishing the business processes that make this alignment between MSO and the business units and the execution with MSO commodity teams effective, repeatable, efficient and scalable.

B.S. in Engineering or Business with a minimum of 15-18 years of experience or M.S. in Engineering or MBA with 12 to 15 years of experience.Experience in Engineering and Supply Chain is highly desired.Experience working with Data Center Products and other system components (PCB's, Connectors, IC's, Optical components etc) is preferred.Demonstrated ability to comprehend the industry landscape, anticipate emerging requirements, and drive supply chain solutions.Demonstrated success in building relationships and systems for effective cross-organizational collaboration.This position requires strong leadership, influence, and communication skills with a wide range of organizations across Intel including Business Units, Operations, Finance and Commodity Management. The successful individual must be action oriented and must have strong business partnering, collaboration, problem solving, and analytical skills. The candidate must be able to work independently, communicate in a clear and concise manner and drive recommendations with people at different organizational levels and functional roles.Willing to travel as necessary both domestic & international.
