In order to take advantage of the many opportunities that we see in the future for FPGA’s, PSG is looking for great FAE to join our team.
The person who fulfills this role will be responsible for working with the front line sales teams to drive growth in embedded processor sales for the north and south central regions. This will entail understanding the assigned embedded market from a business development perspective, and leveraging our embedded solutions, including Intel PSG's ARM based Hard IP and soft processor solutions. The FAE will be capable of assisting customers in architecting and implementation of embedded SoC solutions supporting Intel PSG's embedded tool flow and IP. Knowledge of FPGA's and the ability to assist in customer design recommendations, implementation and integration is essential for success. The successful candidate will be capable of understanding customer SoC solution based architectures and skillfully position, advise, and coach customers to a successful product deployment focused on Intel PSG products.
This is a commissioned sales position. Responsible for giving product presentations to the customer describing how Intel products provide the optimum solution to their application. Develop a clear understanding of Intel's business practices including pricing, forecasting, T/Cs, Distribution, and Business Code of Ethics. During customer's product design, responsible for design assistance including onsite visits to review designs, examine customer problems and provide suggestions on optimal ways to use Intel products. Manage relationships between Intel and customers by establishing relationships with key individuals at accounts. Identify and develop new opportunities within accounts. Give product demonstrations and execute benchmarks to show product capabilities and ease of use. Understand competitor's strengths and weaknesses relative to the appropriate technical strategy. Communicate strategies to appropriate field and factory personnel to obtain required support and coordination. Assist the customer throughout the development cycle to ensure successful completion of the product. Provide timely feedback to the factory on product and strategy. Provide training and account strategy support for distributors. Requires thorough knowledge of business practices and procedures in order to perform non repetitive, analytical work. Provide solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.

• BSEE, BSCS, BSCE, or equivalent technical degree
• 3 years of experience in the design and implementation of microprocessor architectures
• Experience with implementing ARM based processor solutions
• Experience with OS support (Linux)
• Experience with embedded system debug tools (DS-5, GNU, etc.)
• Experience with designing FPGAs and the FPGA development flow
• Willing to travel
• 5+ years of experience in the design and implementation of microprocessor architectures
• Must have experience with application processor architectures and development flows
• Experience with Network programming and client server architecture
